I’m Your Man: A Love Song
Emma Braslavsky’s 2019 novella, Ich bin dein Mensch: Ein Liebeslied, inspired Maria Schrader’s 2021 film Ich bin dein Mensch (I’m Your Man). We talked about her novella, the film, and my translation at a public event sponsored by the Villa Aurora & Thomas Mann House and the Goethe Institute Los Angeles in September 2024.
